Throughout the entire time, she only ever said two words, repeated endlessly: “The eyes. The eyes. The eyes. The eyes.”

But there had always been something special about this place, something he couldn’t really describe. A memory, or a collection of them. Something bright and throbbing. A childhood, he supposed. But slowly, that childhood had begun fading away, until he could hardly recognize himself, never mind the world around him.

It was one of those peculiar sensations that Anna couldn’t exactly describe, yet she instinctively knew its meaning. A cold tickle up her arms. A slight chill on her spine. A sudden, frantic paranoia and a primal need to stay very, very still.

ABOUT PENNED

The members of Penned are committed to learning their craft and becoming the best writers and people that they can be. They recognize that God is the ultimate author of the world, and they strive to write in a way that is pleasing to Him.​

Penned is the creative writing and fiction club of Liberty University. The club was established in November of 2015. There are currently fourteen members.

MEETING DATES

Stories from Propmt Four were read, and Prompt Five was selected.

A member of Penned gave a presentation, and stories from Prompt Four were read aloud and critiqued by the group.

Penned met and read aloud any remaining prompts. After a critique session, a new prompt was selected.
